This workshop aims to teach participants how to compile their documents, projects, and other materials into a centralized personal website that can be showcased in a professional setting. The intended audience for this session are students who have no prior experience constructing a personal website, but may also benefit those who are looking to transfer their content onto Wordpress or who are rethinking their approach to their own personal site.

The session will focus on the logistics of putting together a personal website, including creating a personal domain, picking a Wordpress theme, and teaching participants how to set up their content on their Wordpress sites.  We will also briefly go over how to set up a personal website through other means available on Domain of One's Own and different domain hosting options, so students can keep their websites running after graduation. 

Participants will not need to do anything to set up their domains or personal websites ahead of time, as the focus of this session will be on the logistics involved in putting together a personal website. However, if you wish to set up your Domain and Wordpress site ahead of time, instructions can be found at https://techdocs.blogs.brynmawr.edu/7141 and https://techdocs.blogs.brynmawr.edu/7260.
