Friday Finds - Student Symposium on Global Exchanges In-Person
Special Collections hosts a student symposium on Global Exchanges in relation to themes in the current exhibition, All-Over Design: Lockwood de Forest between Ahmedabad and Bryn Mawr. Sylvia Houghteling will give the keynote lecture at 12noon.
11:15am - 12pm: Undergraduate Student Presentations by Alyssa Kerper '20, Kate Evans '20, and Aria Diao (AB/MA '20)
12pm: Prof. Sylvia Houghteling, "Sleepless Silks and Purloined Timber: Material Histories of South Asian Design and the British Empire, 1850-1900)
1-2pm: Graduate Student Presentations by Molly Kuchler (Classics), Megan Sligar (Archaeology), Tessa Haas (HART)
The event will take place in the Rare Book Room of Canaday Library.
