Tech Talk: Implementing digital classrooms across borders: Cultural and practical considerations. In-Person
This presentation will discuss the implementation and evaluation of the LITS-funded "Implementing a global classroom for Bryn Mawr College and Chilean students" project. This pilot initiative involved the development, implementation, and evaluation of three different global classroom experiences in partnership between the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, Bryn Mawr College, and the Fundación Tierra de Esperanza, in Concepcion, Chile. The presentation will include an in-depth discussion of the cultural and practical considerations that must be attended to in the context of multicultural, interdisciplinary, and multi-institutional educational digital educational initiatives.
