OPENING: Camp Pause by Tania El Khoury and Dictaphone Group in Rare Book Room In-Person
The most extensive platform to date for works by Tania El Khoury, an artist based in Beirut and London, opens at Bryn Mawr. One of the four interactive installations on campus, Camp Pause, remains on view in the Rare Book Room for the entire fall semester. This piece, made collaboratively with other members of the Dictaphone Group, is a four-channel video that follows Palestinian residents of the Rashidieh Refugee Camp in Lebanon on their daily journeys between their homes and the nearby sea.
