Graduate Community of Learning: Database Building and Management In-Person

Academic research, from the seminar paper to the dissertation, often entails collecting information from a variety of sources and media. However, without a structured way to organize all of this documentation, your project can quickly become unwieldy. This workshop on databases and data management will showcase several digital tools, including Zotero, Tropy, and FileMaker, that can facilitate more efficient and organized research practices,. We will also discuss the principles and process for creating custom databases suited to your own research projects.

This workshop will be run by Andrew Tharler.
