Writing on Screen Workshop In-Person

A person in a white shirt is writing on a transparent surface. Several drawings and diagrams have already been drawn around the writing space.

Want to move beyond the chalkboard and computer setup of a typical classroom? In this hands-on workshop, come learn about the range of devices faculty are using to display their writing in classroom settings. Model peer review of student work by annotating a paper live on screen, or solve problems on a tablet and save the results to post later. We will begin by discussing some of the ways that writing on screen might make sense in your courses, and then there will be plenty of time to try out some devices, including iPad Pro with Pencil, Microsoft Surface tablet, and IPEVO document cameras.
