Tech Talk: Visualizing Data from Women's College Archives In-Person

The 2017 cohort of Digital Scholarship Summer Fellows -- Mimi Benkoussa (’19, Computer Science), Madeline Perry (’19, Psychology), Nathália Santos (’18, Poli Sci/Econ), and Claudia Zavala (’20, Cities) -- will share their work designing and implementing a data visualization project (http://digitalscholarship.brynmawr.edu/dssf17) that compiles data from the College Women portal and reframes it to visualize content by year and subject matter. The fellows will share their experiences collaborating to create an accessible and intuitive visualization for those curious about the history of women’s colleges. Students will be joined by Evan McGonagill, the College Women project manager, who will provide a brief overview of the project.
