Basic Sewing Machine Use! In-Person
Are you new (or newISH) to sewing machines? Would you like to learn how to use the sewing equipment available in the Makerspace? We'll be gathering in Carpenter 25 where we'll show you how to thread (and troubleshoot threading issues), select the correct stitch type for different types of fabric, and introduce you to some of the sewing/fiber arts resources available in the Makerspace (Park 157) and Maker2 (Canaday). Attendees will have the opportunity to practice and complete a small sewing project.
