Wikidata Edit-a-thon: Artists in Bryn Mawr College's Special Collections In-Person

Do you know which artists have work in Bryn Mawr's Special Collections? Come find out by participating in a Wikidata Edit-a-thon! We'll be updating Wikidata entries on artists to add links to TriArte, Bryn Mawr's Art and Artifact database. We need your help to make our collections more discoverable and contribute to linked open data resources for art history and museum studies. This is part of a longer term project to gather and visualize demographic information about the many artists in our collections. Drop by the Lusty Cup when you can: training will be provided and lunch will be served!

Wikidata is a free structured data hub connected to Wikipedia. You can use it to get user-contributed data about almost anything. Stop by the event to learn more about Wikidata, how to contribute data, and how to use their Query Service to get data.
