File Prep Office Hours: Adobe Illustrator for Digital Fabrication

File Prep Office Hours: Adobe Illustrator for Digital Fabrication In-Person

Are you thinking about using the laser cutter, vinyl printer, RISO printer or embroidery machine? Your first step is to create a digital design! Learn the basics, or get file troubleshooting help and then make an appointment to produce your designs in the Makerspace.

This session will start with a demonstration and tour of the Adobe Illustrator workspace. Beginning users can partipate in a guided exercise designed to introduce basic tools and commands (please arrive at 1:30 if you would like to participate in guided instruction, which will last about 30 min). More advanced users are encouraged to work at their own speed and seek input/support on independent projects.

Important: Students who have not activated their Adobe Creative Cloud license will not be able to access software on the campus computers without contacting the Help Desk (help@brynmawr.edu) to request that your credentials be added to our campus license. Please allow time for staff to respond to your request.
