The Reactor Room: An Immersive Chornobyl Exhibition Opening

The Reactor Room: An Immersive Chornobyl Exhibition Opening In-Person

Please join us for the opening of The Reactor Room: An Immersive Chornobyl Exhibition on Nov. 16, 4:30-5:30 p.m. Members of the design team and student contributors will speak about their experiences putting together the Room. Refreshments will be served.

The Reactor Room is an interactive physical installation that invites audiences to learn about the Chornobyl nuclear disaster's histories and legacies. It showcases the work of Professor José Vergara’s course RUSSB220 Chornobyl taught at Bryn Mawr College (Fall 2023) and RUSS043 Chernobyl: Nuclear Narratives and the Environment at Swarthmore College (Spring 2020), as well as projects developed by the Bryn Mawr Digital Scholarship Summer Fellows (Summer 2023).
