Book Traces and Mawrginalia

Book Traces and Mawrginalia In-Person

Have you ever checked out a book and found someone else's notes? Many of the books in Bryn Mawr's libraries were previously owned and some even bear traces of 19th and early-20th-century readers. Come hear about Book Traces, a digital scholarship project exploring these reader markings in library books. We'll talk about the data collection process, our findings, and the digital exhibit [Mawrginalia](https://digitalscholarship.brynmawr.edu/scalar/mawrginalia/index). Enjoy a hands-on activity with old library books -- you may even find some reader markings of your own!
