Melissa Pashigian from Anthropology discusses her Mellon Seed Grant project. Pashigian worked with LITS to develop interactive mapping resources and an in-class assignment on the London cholera epidemic of the 1850s. Students examine different historical maps and data points to develop a better understanding of the uses of medical anthropology for analyzing epidemics.
